Winter Thicket

I`ve been working on this the past week. Looks finished to me though I suspect it will get tweaked somewhat. This is the largest painting I`ve done in months. In a sense, working big is easier, it`s all more relaxed. With small pieces, everything counts.

Congratulations. It's lovely, virginal and perfectly anticipates Spring!

I'm attracted to the lyrical nature of your landscape work. It always amazes me when someone paints the landscape the way it makes me feel; the way I wish I could represent it myself. I'm glad I found your blog.
