My condolences. My Dad just turned 86. Same generation, the great ones.

My condolences to your family at this time David. I always look with a little envy at my friends who have been lucky enough to have their father around into their mid life. I was just 30 when my father died. I hope good memories will sustain you.

Randall,

You have my sympathies. These transitions in life are challenging to navigate. How lovely that you had the fortune to be raised by a kind and compassionate man.

May you and your family find comfort in the time you had together and in the parts of your father that live on in each of you.

Randall,

I came to your blog tonight, after being away too long, and when I saw this post knew I needed to leave a comment.

I offer my deepest sympathies at your loss. The image you posted in your father's memory is full of exuberance, just delightful. What a wonderful way to remember someone you love.

I lost my brother (to cancer) May 5. I went back to my writing, in particular my poetry writing, to make sense of it all. I now have a book-length manuscript for which I'm designing a project that will involve artists. I started a blog last week, Writing Without Paper. Please come for a visit. I'm going to add a link to yours so I don't lose track of it again.

Every morning I am treated to that lovely little piece of yours I purchased through Laura and Rob, "Winter Wetlands", do you remember?

Love the new work.

Maureen
