Exile

As I pack and do all the other countless tasks involved with moving, I thought I`d post examples of abstract work I did 20 years ago. Very few were exhibited yet it was an intensive period of experimentation.
The kind poet Maureen Doallas has posted an interview with me on her website Writing Without Paper.

This is very cool. I was going to say, "now we're really getting out there." Didn't know it was "back there". Interesting to see all the layers that we are.

LOVE this. You can get lost endlessly in it. I love all the recent work you've been posting too. I became aware of your blog through Carol Marine and I look forward to your posts.

This is beautiful -- and the interview is great. Maureen is one of the best interviewers I've ever run across.

What else do you have hidden? As all the others have said, very cool, love this, beautiful! I'll add a wow.

And thank you for the link. I'm delighted so many people are reading the interview.

You have to bring more of these "out of hiding"....this is gorgeous. I thought you were a genius ,,,,I just read the interview and now I KNOW you are.I have to admit that I normally don´t like reading about a painters this and that and past and blah, blah, blah,,,as good work speaks for itself but this interview has really solidified what I thought all along...I could actually "feel" a lot of these things about you without seeing it printed in words. This came through in your work. I look forward to reading the next part.
Have a wonderful Spring day.

I'd like to know what prompted you to title it Exile?

Bad Memory Kate, after I posted I realized that was the title of a different painting. I guess my slide wasn`t labeled when I had it digitized, and I don`t remember the original title. In Santa Fe I had it pinned to a wall and my kitten Louie started climbing it to my horror. It was never presentable after that.
Cynthia, again, I wish I knew how to contact and thank you.
