New Home /Older Painting

This is the place where we`re waiting to hear if our offer was accepted. Lake Oswego!?! The huge basement will be a great studio, nature and trails everywhere, and a solid vintage Craftsman house! Now I just need to learn about the community.

Wow, sweet house! And the cleanest basement I ever saw....Oregon, right?

Just discovered your post last week. Your work is extraordinary! Gorgeous painting. Lovely home. Looks like a great studio, too. Wow!

I really respond to this painting, Randall! I was just out to the Washington coast and your headland takes me right back to the sense of wild power there. The red--tomato soup red section works well visually for me linking to the patterns in the sky and the reds in the land. It also is the "beyond" in this painting and I appreciate this quality in your work very much. It prods and pushes me to ask questions both about the aesthetics of the painting and the meaning of the imagery. In this case I go under the sea surface, into the realm of closed eye sunlit color, diving down, looking up, and rejoicing in my new sense of peace--all inspired by this painting. Best of luck with this house, too. It looks like you to me! Jason
