The Cliff Joins the Water 2

This is the largest painting I`ve done in my new studio. It`s another of the Oswego Creek series I`m working on. Early Spring in a wet place is so dynamic!

Given its size, this painting's luminosity must light up the room. I love how you paint one plane over another; it makes the work fascinating to look at.

What wonderful depth and perspective and especially light this produces. Truly masterful.

This makes me feel like I am wading in shin high water walking back towards this light and as hot as it is here right now...this feels really refreshing and cooling.

Subdued but striking. I like it a lot.
