Alders near the Shore

I try to do these trees justice. They`re a silvery joy in winter at the coast.

The alders are sinuous and sensuous, especially the one in the right foreground (it's like an elongated body). So much movement. Silvery joy indeed.

An artist and a poet :) These are very suggestive of bodies moving in a slow dance and I like your term "silvery joy" to define them.

There are many things to like about this painting. Here are a couple: Perspective: tree trunk in front is very present; warmth of the yellow is controlled and subtle and makes the bright winter blue sky even more crisp and cold!
