Trinity Alps

Well that was an interesting experience.
It`s kind of profound to be listened to so intently. I hope they didn`t feel too harangued. My message was uncomplicated; focus on the subject and your own motivations then simplify everything else to emphasize that.
They were very good sports as I trashed traditional watercolor technique.
Painting is hard, we need every means possible.
This was my demonstration painting.

If you showed them magic like this, it doesn't really matter what you said; they got much more than they came for.

wise words, my friend. Since I never really learned traditional watercolor techniques I just might be able to do as you say.

Cool piece; wish I'd been there!

I would love a post recapping your talk! Explaining your technique and what you don't like about traditional watercolor technique. Your style is so different and I'd love to hear more about your philosophy.
