untitled Landscape

I was riding around the valley the other day admiring the fall color, the rolling sky, the fertility of the land, and when I got home, I wanted to get something down while it was fresh. Well instead of peaceful vineyards and meadows, this apocalyptic landscape was what evolved.

The long dark shadows of late October - unsettled weather - the cliffs of time!
Very poetic!

Get this---
Early this morning, when I checked my blog on my iPhone (I know... too small to see, but too tempting to not look), what I saw when I looked at your thumbnail was, I thought, a picture of people crouching under a collapsed parachute. Then came your remark about an apocalyptic landscape.

Wow! What a way to start the day.

The power of the subconscious (haha). It is certainly dramatic!
