Eastern Oregon Study 2

There are three different landscapes I`m trying to paint while my memory is still fresh; Brush Creek in Wyoming, the geothermal pools in Yellowstone and the red and green hills of Eastern Oregon. I hardly want to go anywhere or see anything new at all.

This reminds me of the wonder of that area. We were in Yellowstone on 9/11 and fully engaged in the splendor until we learned of the horror. This contrast of experience makes my memory even more vivid as to the beauty of it all.

Very, very nice. This one looks like it wants to be a really big painting someday.
