Not so fast!

I did get down to my studio last weekend but couldn't stand to paint very long at all. Going down the stairs, I caused a problem with one of the stitches and the knee started draining. Today my doctor said he should go back in and make sure there isn't any infection. So, a little clean up surgery tomorrow.
I`m not doing anything else, no plans, I can't even get down my steps unassisted and in fact I was getting serious cabin fever. Change of venue doesn't sound bad.

You know you are in trouble when a trip to the hospital for surgery sounds like a good time. I get it! Good luck! Things will continue to improve:)

I sure hope things are looking up soon for you! Perhaps consider this a time for planning - get a nice sketchbook/journal and plan future paintings and/or outings when spring arrives. But most of all, take care!

Hi Randall,
Good luck tomorrow and let's be a bit more careful, eh. :)
As for my own knee problems from jogging...Living in Portland about seven years ago, there I was happily striding toward South Waterfront when my right knee began to hurt. Turned out to be a torn meniscus. Surgery fixed me up in no time and I've had no subsequent issues to date.
Lucky to be sure.
So, we all know how stir crazy you must be, but please--for all your fan's peace of mind--take it a little slower after the surgery this time.
Best Wishes,
Gary

Oh dear - hope all goes well, Randall.
(I went up and down steps on my bum after I had surgery.)
