A wholesome way to perk up!<br /><br />For that second piece, I thought Bonnard right away not because of the colors so much but because of the pattern of shapes. His color usage is beautiful, luminous, but it's the patterning that I tend to see most often first. And Carnival is my favorite. I saw what I wanted to see which was lots of biomorphic shapes! <br /><br />Falling into a thermal pool sounds just awful. Or off a cliff. Or onto a bunch of jagged rocks. Or even on the desert floor in the heat. Gotta be super careful. Nature is fierce and unforgiving!<br /><br />A very fun post. Hope you are well.
