Cannot decide if I like the saturated and stacked color of the New Mexico painting or the hopefulness of the Open Sky painting - guess I’ll choose both! No baking here, other than straight out of the roll chocolate chip cookies (had to stop when Jerry saw he was gaining weight. Walking in the neighborhood is all I do to get out except for out in the yard - my lilies of the valley are blooming :) and so is my lilac bush, giving me things to sniff and enjoy. Rain, sunshine, wind, warmth - spring is here whether we can fully enjoy it or not. Walking alone is not a bad thing. Take care of each other!!RH Carpenterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05497161758269292809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3188700731713860207.post-6521434580248255742020-04-17T08:50:30.403-07:002020-04-17T08:50:30.403-07:00I've been missing your blog posts, so happy to...I've been missing your blog posts, so happy to read that you and John are well and you are able to work. You have perfectly described the pendulum swing between "tripping over privilege" and "terrified"! I had a virtual doctor visit last week and I was struck by just how dangerous their jobs are. I had never really considered it before. We take so much for granted.

I like all the pieces of course but particularly the last and especially how you described the "stacked" landscape. I would have never seen it that way!

Not sure about the cookies but I am up for a challenge. I understand that cookbook was groundbreaking but the recipes were just so-so.

Take care of yourself,
Libby

Libby Fifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13532162740012986996noreply@blogger.com
