I love your trees. This was looks as if it were back-lit. The light in the top-most branches makes a wonderful effect. The blues and blue-blacks set off the green well.The chaos of those twisting, gnarling branches is a metaphor.
The longest night is my favorite night of the year because it brings the coming of the light. All that is in this painting.
