1987.
Just like now, titles did not come easy. I`d get out an atlas and look for names that sounded interesting. Often the words were of a Native American language, such as this one. After I moved to the Northwest I realized Issaquah was a suburb of Seattle.

Exile


As I pack and do all the other countless tasks involved with moving, I thought I`d post examples of abstract work I did 20 years ago. Very few were exhibited yet it was an intensive period of experimentation.

New Home /Older Painting



This is the place where we`re waiting to hear if our offer was accepted. Lake Oswego!?! The huge basement will be a great studio, nature and trails everywhere, and a solid vintage Craftsman house! Now I just need to learn about the community.
