Over the Sea 11

We were at the coast this past weekend during a little window of sunshine. I stared at the horizon for a long time. That perfect line is one of the most profound sights to my imagination. A clear, unblinking reminder of all that is important. This series will continue.

I never tire of looking out to sea. I get to do it from my summer home patio for at least 4 months of the year. It always amazes me how the sky can change so quickly and provide such beautiful vistas with every colour imaginable. I won't tire of these images!

I love the simplicity of this painting and the others in your series, and my favorite place is the sea at the Oregon coast...
