Just before a walk along the river I stopped on the bridge over Oswego Creek and noticed a glowing reflection deep within the shadows. So, I got out my new I-Phone, mentally figured out how to work it, then shot a moody photo which became a reference for this study.

This has a darkness (literal and metaphorical) to it that is not quite like anything I've seen in your earlier work (at least that I can recall). That black against the orange-reds seems ominous, spreading. If I were writing a poem about Libya right now, I'd want this to complement it.
Fascinating.
Love the subtle balance between high technology and immemorial atmosphere... And what a strong composition! Something like the art of an old chinese master, very intriguing and captivating. Masterpiece, again...
Ah yes, iPhones. Anywhere you want to go. Inside your head or out. Glad you went here and painted it.
