SamArtDog is so right. What I also like is how you move from realism to abstraction and back, leaving a mark on each painting to make it unique, even though the subject matter is the same--your alders being one example. Your focused composition and eye for color (which has a very modern feel) are superb. And you're never static, you're always pushing out into something new or unexpected with the space you work in.
