I was there in mid September at the end of summer.

What a lovely refuge. I can see how you can be inspired going there.

Oh, I like this. Clean and beautiful 'scape. Restful. Quiet water, greenery, clouds and blue sky. One doesn't usually think of orangy-reddish appearing in summer tree foliage, but the 2 spots at the sides helped create a mood, drawing the eye to the center water framed by tree-green.

The Nisqually Wildlife Refuge is a special place. I really like how you captured the life and beauty there.

I'm glad to know this area is accessable. I've seen it from the train and longed to be on the water. Great emotional impact... both your painting and the landscape.

Your reflections are always wonderful in the whole sense of that word. I'm drawn in to the painting and then stay there observing the changes from land to water.
