When I painted this watercolor last winter, little did I know I would soon see geothermal features not unlike this in Yellowstone. We`ve been hiking all over, the landscape has been other worldly, I`m bursting with ideas from the Ranch and the Park and soon will be home and able to paint again.

Absolutely beautiful.
It really does look like the thermal pools. Can't wait to see the inspiration you bring home!
Looking forward to seeing those ideas in paint.
I've been in Maine, so now I get to see all of your Brush Creek Paintings at once. They're vastly different from either your NM stuff or your NW work. Nice how you dealt with the season tipping into spring with such a delicate palette.
i like this one...very cool.
