Yes, I left Oregon and drove two days to the Mountain West to paint...trees! These cottonwood forests along Brush Creek are compelling! Every year in Spring I try to paint the delicacy and freshness of the season. I usually come up short. The Pointillist landscape is lovely but a bitch to paint!
