Alders and Estuary

May I come out and play there?

You would not believe the weather conditions here. We have had complete whiteout since early last night. More snow is falling. We have close to 5 ft on ground now. It's February and should be June.

I come here to seek refreshment and draw in the beauty of the colors in your wonderful palette. The alders are lovely.

I just found your blog and am your new number one fan! I think your work is brilliant. I looked to see if you kept an email list but couldn't find any info about it. If you do have one, or if you'd like to set one up and have a minute (I've got info about it) please look me up and email me. This painting especially is fabulous!

Hi Randall, I checked out your work after seeing that you're at Sitka in the last Sitka newsletter. I'm your #2 fan after Carol Marine whose daily blog I coincidentally receive.
I love this painting and what you've done with the awesome and sometimes overwhelming view from Cascade Head. It and all your work is very inspirational for me, an intermediate landscape painter from Port Townsend, WA. I would jump at the chance to attend a workshop if you were to teach one. Cheers, Jason
