Trail through the Winter Thicket

Another little study I did two days ago while thinking about a long composition. A way to proceed came to me on a run yesterday. After blocking in the forms last night with it`s multiple viewpoints, it looks like a travel poster for the Oregon coast.

I have been following your blog awhile. I always look forward to your new post. I love the golden tunnel on this one. I really enjoy seeing the brush strokes and the washes of powerful colors. Beautiful

Lucretia is spot on with her description of your work and her anticipation of what's next. I feel the same way. The most interesting thing I can add is that I'm not very attracted to landscape painting but yours keep me coming back. It's your loose, fresh very interpretive style.

We need to do a book together!

Something is breaking out of you and finding full expression. It's wonderful to watch and see what comes forth.
