Full Moon / High Tide

1988.
I`ve always loved painting the ocean, even when I lived in New Mexico.

What a Wow this is!

Those exploding reds in those blue-green-purples are fabulous.

Could look at this one all day and never grow tired of it.

Is this one of these huge watermedia you made long ago? Something like a (painter) battle for (gesture and mind) freedom... Very impressive, like a strange foreign world, with epic design and colors. Thanks for sharing. JBP

I echo Maureen's "WOW"! No other word for it. Very striking. Impossible colors for a real time surf, and a more surreal appearance than most of your present paintings. But dynamic, full of energy as well as beauty.

Your daring colors always give me a nudge to get bolder. Great energy here. I can hear that water exploding against the rocks and it makes me want to get to ocean!
