Yes, I left Oregon and drove two days to the Mountain West to paint...trees! These cottonwood forests along Brush Creek are compelling! Every year in Spring I try to paint the delicacy and freshness of the season. I usually come up short. The

Love the format on this one - you're giving us a long delicious look at these lovely trees :) Sweetie said we passed cottonwoods yesterday in our drive in Ohio - got to be something different than western cottonwoods because they were not golden and yellow and light - just green.
Yup, sometimes only trees will do--especially in the spring. Best.
