Silk Road


This is one of the occasional paintings I like to do where there isn`t a subject.
Still seems like a landscape though.

Yes, the perspective is almost like lying on the ground and looking up through the canopy, in this case, the canopy of leaves-turning-autumn and not at all ready to fall, and that blue sky shining through.

I agree with Maureen about the canopy of trees. It's a perspective that I like.
