I`ve come to think of summer as the ideal time to watch moving water. With all the trees leafed out, many areas I like to paint are now just a wall of green. So I turn to the creeks.
In August, I`ll be participating in The Friends of Tryon Creek`s fundraiser 'Nature Inspires Art'.

You paint water so beautifully, it shimmers. This is another lovely study, almost delicate; I like the depth you get with the dark colored oils at back and to side.
