Above Tryon Creek

I`m enjoying working small with watercolors and acrylics. So clean and non-toxic! Soon the weaker density of acrylics will get frustrating and I`ll welcome the depth and versatility of oil paints again.

I feel I am in a beautiful dream looking at this. Your colors are gorgeous

Your abstract realism always inspires me. The color stays clear even when muted as in the misty background. The dark foreground is bright with jewel colors and the middle ground is highlighted with light. I love landscape paintings and this one incorporates all the elements of abstract and realism with hints of mystery and more to see with the shifting light. Your paintings always inspire me to see and try to capture those fleeting scenes of light and shadows.
