Days are short, it`s wet, but I think this is the most beautiful month in the Northwest.
I thought I had conquered Yupo with a multi-watermedia technique but now I`m finding a lot more possibility with just watercolor. The look is more like gouche maybe, there is plenty of Chinese white involved, but the brilliant white surface of Yupo reflects through anything.

So interesting to see you explore this surface in a different way :) Beautiful!
Like this a lot, Randall. Lovely effect.
Aloha Randall,
Man! You really achieved a feeling of the atmosphere in this one. I can almost see condensation running down the canvas!
Amazing work, Randall.
Have a great day.
Sincerely,
Gary.
Simply beautiful and very atmospheric.
I have never tried Yupo but after seeing this I think I would like to.
I like the last two quite a bit. Capturing the idea of a rainy misty day is tough. (You did a great job of course!) I especially enjoyed the photos from your earlier post. It was instructive to see the landscape since I am not that familiar with the area.
Can't believe you have rain already. The gray skies and water really make the colors come alive though don't they? Very lucky:)
RT: As always, another beautiful piece. It's fair to say you have mastered Yupo! And you've inspired me to finally pull it out and try working with it. Thanks.
So delicate and so lovely - that pink against the greys is just so beautiful.
Beautiful and inspiring.
